The other day, Wednesday, we took Jason's parents out for lunch to celebrate mom's bday. Halfway through lunch, Jason's dad looked at his mom and said, "I feel dizzy." Within minutes, we saw his face grow white. His eyes began to roll back and then he started shaking as if having a stroke! Of course, we all freaked out, except for Jason (he's always controlled even in emergencies, thank God! Someone's gotta be calm in moments like these!). So, we had him lay down. He was having cold sweats and might have even lost consciousness for a couple of seconds, but was okay after that. This is quite scary since this is his second fainting in less than 2 months. It has a lot to do with his high blood pressure medication, which is causing his blood pressure to actually go dangerously low and therefore, causing the dizzinness and fainting.
Anyway, we were able to contact his doctor back in Taiwan confirmed that it's not a heart issue or stroke but the meds he's been taking. Just keep him in your prayers when you remember. I know Jason's mom is really worried...She's actually been talking a little about death and dying these days. Going through this just reminds me how both our parents are not so young anymore....it's kinda sad because everytime they come visit us we can actually tell they look and act older.

I know what you mean....we have this picture in our minds of what people are supposed to look like without realizing that time is still ticking away. We will be praying.
